The Mahishmati Empire is still ruling the box office and the ‘Baahubali’ craze doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
It’s been more than two weeks since its release and SS Rajamouli’s film ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ has set very high standards for the Indian film industry. Just within 10 days, the film broke all the box office records and made more than Rs 1000 crores.
The collection continues to swell while the whole nation is going gaga over this grand visual treat. Sure, SS Rajamouli had a great vision but most of the credit goes to the VFX team that made ‘Baahubali’ the raging success it is today.
National award winner V. Srinivas Mohan was the VFX supervisor of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, while R.C Kamlakannan worked on the second installment.
More than 35 studios worldwide were part of the ‘Baahubali’ journey. In fact, it was reported that the VFX team had a lot on their plate and they completed the post-production work just 10 days prior to its release.
